Sloppy Joes
1 lb. ground turkey
1/3 of a large onion, minced
1 T. butter
2/3 to 3/4 c. BBQ sauce (your choice)
1/2 c. water
bread or hamburger buns
1. In large skillet, sauté onion in butter until slightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. Place ground turkey in pan and cook until browned.
3. Add onion back in, along with BBQ sauce and about half a cup of water. Mix well and allow to simmer—to soften onions and blend flavors—until some of the water evaporates.
4. Serve on buns with tater tots on the side (a better/healthier choice than potato chips or French fries, believe it or not).
