Aw, how sweet, huh? Heart-shaped waffles. I've had this waffle iron forever, and I love to use it. Recently, I made some waffles using a Bob's Red Mill muffin mix. Had to fudge the ingredient ratios, but this is what I eventually came up with:
Waffles using Spice Apple Bran Muffin Mix (Bob's Red Mill brand)
1 1/2 c. Spice Apple Bran Muffin Mix
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
2 T. oil
2/3 c. water
Whisk all ingredients together. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Prepare waffle iron. Follow manufacturer's instructions, using the batter.
