Baked Truffle Pie
10 squares (10 oz.) Baker's bittersweet chocolate
1/2 c. whipping cream
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Microwave chocolate and cream in microwaveable bowl on high 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted. Stir until completely melted. Cool.
- Whisk in eggs, sugar and flour.
- Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake 30 minutes or until edge of pie is puffed but center is still slightly soft; cool.
- Top with fresh berries, your favorite pie filling, and/or Cool Whip.
NOTE: This could also be baked in a fluted tart pan for a more formal presentation. It is a very dense and chocolaty pie; very much like a brownie.
