The Hawks basically beat themselves in this game, getting into early penalty trouble yet again, and never really recovering from it.
While nobody had a good game, I have to say that Troy Brouwer played his ass off tonight. One uplifting note on an otherwise sucky game.
Looking forward, the Hawks need to get their stuff together and stop taking stupid, useless, selfish, lazy penalties if they hope to move on in the Play Offs. I know they have the talent, but their youthful enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of them. Chill out, Hawks, and get the job done.
