Polish Stir-Fry
1 pkg. Skinless Turkey Sausage (or Polish Kielbasa), cut into bite-sized chunks
1/2 head cabbage, chopped/shredded
1/2 Vidalia onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed/minced
- In a large skillet, sauté onion until it starts to look clear, then add cabbage. Sauté until cabbage begins to brown.
- Add sausage chunks and garlic; continue cooking until meat is warmed through (you don't need to cook it; maybe just brown it a little).
- Serve with fresh sliced apples on the side. And a big glass of milk, which somehow finishes the meal just perfectly.
NOTE: I have tried adding other ingredients to this recipe, and it's best when it is kept simple, as listed above. However, I will grant you permission to adapt it to suit you own taste...
