Pear Salad with Poppyseed Dressing
12 ounces salad greens (such as red leaf, green leaf, butter, or romaine mix)
1 1/2 c. (8 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled
2/3 c. pecans, chopped
2 fresh pears, peeled, cored & sliced (ripe but still firm is best)
1 c. seasoned croutons – optional
1 jar (15 fl. oz.) T. Marzetti's Poppyseed Salad Dressing
- Prepare greens by rinsing, drying, and tearing any larger leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- Toss the feta and pecans into the greens. (add croutons if you'd like)
- Arrange the pear slices on top of the salad, and if you are not serving the salad immediately, lay a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the salad so that the pears do not discolor.
- Serve with T. Marzetti's Poppyseed Salad Dressing.
